Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) President, Dana White, has no problem admitting that he has a “man crush” on Patriots quarterback extraordinaire, Tom Brady, who may or may not make his return to New England later this year.
Which is why White wants Brady to follow him to Las Vegas.
“First of all, I’m a Boston guy through and through,” White said during yesterday’s Instagram Q&A (transcribed by Andy Nesbitt). “I want you to go with the Patriots, but let me make my last pitch: Las Vegas would love to have you here with the Raiders! The stadium, the facility is incredible. The training facility they have outside of Vegas is unbelievable. It’s a 45-minute flight from L.A. Your kids and your family could live there. C’mon now, brother. Get to Vegas!”
White also got his start in New England before relocating in “Sin City.”
After spending 20 hall-of-fame years with the Patriots, the 42 year-old Brady is just two weeks away from free agency and early rumors have him flirting with the San Francisco 49ers. That said, I would not be surprised if he ended up back in “Beantown.”
“Right now, I’m just trying to be patient through this process. It’s my first time going through it,” Brady said. “In the meantime, I’m going to spend a lot of time with my family over the next 10 to 12 days. We have a little vacation planned, which I’m looking forward to.”
