With just under three weeks to go until UFC 257, the UFC is ramping up the hype for one of the biggest fights of the year in Dustin Poirier vs. Conor McGregor 2.
UFC president Dana White released an extended three-minute UFC 257 video promo on Monday, hyping up the Poirier-McGregor rematch on social media.
The video, which has already generated over 900k views on White’s Twitter and Instagram accounts, features footage of their first fight as well as both men’s training preparation for the Jan 23 rematch.

McGregor won the first fight via TKO after catching Poirier with a grazing left hook in the first round, but ‘The Diamond’ has improved leaps and bounds since then — as has ‘The Notorious’. McGregor went on to capture the UFC featherweight and lightweight titles while Poirier also moved up in weight and boasts an interim title win over former featherweight champion Max Holloway.
UFC 257: Poirier vs. McGregor II will take place on Jan. 23 at the Flash Forum on Yas Island, Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates.
