Dana White has no problem, as he usually does, sharing his thoughts on the sham that was Floyd Mayweather vs. Logan Paul.

Dana White will never not share how he violently feels. So it’s no surprise he’s had a lot to say about the Floyd Mayweather vs. Logan Paul exhibition match.

“That wasn’t a f—king boxing match,” White told UFC Arabia (transcription via MMAFighting). “Like I said before, there’s always going to be a market for that kind of stuff. There’s always going to be people that are willing to put down $50 to watch that kind of stuff. That’s so far away [from what we do]. Think about this — imagine if Kim Kardashian wanted to fight Amanda Nunes. How big do you think that fight would be? It would be huge. It would be the biggest [event] but give me a f—king break.”

Dana’s right of course. The main event was a slow motion car wreck of carbon fiber hitting silly putty at 5mph. Mayweather was disappointed Logan fought to survive. Meanwhile, Showtime had to offer PPV refunds when the live stream crashed. For Mayweather, who has done exhibitions on everything from pro wrestling to kickboxing, the event seemed to drain his soul, as he more or less vowed to stop this.

As for White, he had to get his shots in on boxing as per usual. “It’s exactly what boxing has always been. You create this energy around a fight where you’re like ‘oh this [is exciting]’ and then you watch it and then you turn the TV off and go ‘I just wasted another evening, I should have went out and did something else.’ I don’t ever want people feeling like that when they turn the TV off watching some of our fights.”

As for those who paid for it? “Listen, if you’ve got people that are stupid enough to spend that kind of money, you deserve to take those dummies’ money. They deserve it.”

Dana has had no problem bringing in guys like CM Punk, James Toney, and Kimbo Slice to the UFC. Given Logan’s interest in MMA, you have to wonder if Dana’s willing to fold one of the Paul brothers into the octagon at some point. Dana may hate the concept, but he doesn’t hate money, and the Paul brothers are nothing of not money makers.
