Earlier today, Nate Diaz stated that all UFC fighters were on steroids. UFC president Dana White quickly responded to that.

After today’s entertaining pres conference promoting UFC 196, UFC president Dana White has in scramble mode. New headliner Nate Diaz was accusing opponent Conor McGregor of being on steroids, and went even further after that, saying “the whole UFC was on steroids.” White was quickly forced to respond to that statement, and TMZ was the source that got the quote:

“The UFC unquestionably has the best drug testing program in all of sports. All done by the United States Anti-Doping Association.”

White, like McGregor before him, pointed out that two of Nate’s teammates, Jake Shields and Gilbert Melendez, both failed drug tests in the past to prove his point:

“If you are cheating, you get caught.”

It was never officially announced what Shields failed for back in 2013. Melendez popped for “exogenous origins of testosterone metabolites” following his UFC 188 loss to Eddie Alvarez.

Diaz and McGregor will meet in a welterweight contest in the main event of UFC 196 on March 5th.
