Republican Presidential Nominee Donald Trump Holds Election Night Party

The UFC CEO has never seen the president-elect drink a single glass of water over their years of friendship.

Dana White and Donald Trump are many things to each other, but they are not hydrohomies.

When Trump won the 2024 election to set up a second presidential term, White was one of the few people he invited on the mic to speak during his acceptance speech. That tells you how close the two are these days. And while White might agree with the president-elect on many things, one thing they don’t quite see eye to eye on is diet and nutrition.

White shared an interesting anecdote about Trump to Tucker Carlson during a recent interview.

“He shows up for the [UFC] prelims, we hang out in my back room, then we walk out and watch the fights,” he said. “It’s six hours. So I’ll ask him, ‘You want a water?’ ‘Nah nah nah.’ And then someone will bring him over a Coke and he’ll drink Coke. I’ve never seen him drink water … ever! I’m not saying he doesn’t drink water. I’m just saying I’ve never seen it. And we’re friends and I’ve been around him a long time and a lot. Never seen a water.”

“It works for him,” White added. “The energy level, he’s unstoppable. It works for him. Big Macs, Milky Ways, and Cokes.”

It sounds like White tried to hook Trump up with some of his pal Gary Brecka’s superhuman protocol ideas, only to get shot down.

“I told him, ‘Listen, you gotta do this, that.’ He’s like ‘Aaaah, you’re too thin. You looked better before,’” White said.

“He says it all the time. ‘You’re too thin, I don’t want too thin, I want some size,’ he always tells me. He’s a different animal. Because I was doing the same thing [as him] minus the Coca-Cola and I had one foot in the grave … and I’m 55, not 78. He’s a different animal, an absolute beast, this guy.”

“Doesn’t sleep, works hard, flies everywhere, he’s a savage.”
