Curtis Blaydes coined an insulting new nickname for ‘Big Pretty’ after their fight. Here’s what Justin Willis thought of it.
Heavyweights Curtis Blaydes and Justin Willis fought on Saturday night at UFC on ESPN+ 6 in Nashville, and while it wasn’t a barnburner by any definition it was a dominant victory for Blaydes. The 28 year old NJCAA National Championship wrestler took Willis down repeatedly and completely neutralized him, with judges awarding him the decision by 30-27, 30-26, and 30-25 scores.
As if those 10-8 rounds weren’t bad enough, Blaydes took the opportunity on the mic after his win to insult Willis further.

”It feels so good to shut him up,” Blaydes told Daniel Cormier. “Big Titty, go home! Go home, work on your wrestling! Go home!”
Now Justin Willis is responding to his loss and that cheap shot in a statement on his Instagram.
”Learn, Grow, Conquer. I will be back greater!” Willis wrote. “Great fight @razorblaydes265. Thanks for showing your true colors, I understand you but anywho we shall undoubtedly see each other again soon, enjoy. Until then I will get back to work. The rest of the division is in trouble and to all my haters enjoy it while it last. God bless.”
Willis may indeed be back and better than ever after this embarrassing loss. He trains at American Top Team, home of great MMA wrestlers like Cain Velasquez and Daniel Cormier. Which explains why “DC” didn’t look thrilled with Curtis Blaydes and his new nickname for “Big Pretty” after the fight.
