With back-to-back wins, UFC 112 winner Matt Hughes not thinking about retirement

Matt Hughes owns an Ultimate Fighting Championship record 17 wins. And from the sound of it, he’ll make an attempt at No. 18 and more.

Hughes’ first hints at a potential retirement came in 2007 when he served as a coach on “The Ultimate Fighter 6,” and they gained steam in 2008 following back-to-back losses to Georges St-Pierre and Thiago Alves.

But Hughes, who’s now won two straight after a third-round TKO victory over fellow MMA legend Renzo Gracie this past weekend at UFC 112, suggested he won’t be calling it quits anytime soon.
