It’s a nice idea to Cub Swanson that he’s fighting at the event where the UFC makes its network TV debut, even if he’s not one of those who gets to bask in the spotlight (just like every other non-headliner).
But reality is staring Swanson in the face.
This is his first fight in the UFC after injuries delayed his debut. In fact, when he learned he will be in the newest version of the UFC’s video game, he tweeted its developer and asked whether his character breaks his hands after every fight.
