Tyron Woodley promises to put a serious beating on Jake Paul.
Tyron Woodley is taking his Aug. 29 boxing match with YouTuber Jake Paul very seriously, as the former UFC welterweight champion and future Hall-of-Famer has promised to put a beating on Paul the likes of which the combat sports world has never seen before.
“I’m just glad to be a part of it, but I’m not only here to participate,” Woodley told Ariel Helwani on Monday’s edition of The MMA Hour (h/t MMA Fighting). “I’m here to f*cking take over. And you’re going to see Jake Paul get hurt in a way you’d never imagine. He may not want to do this again after this.”
Woodley has also promised to break the internet when he releases extended footage of his training camp on his YouTube channel on Saturday.
“It’s too late. He’s going to be the biggest b*tch in the industry of female dogs if he backs out of this fight now,” Woodley said. “So now I can talk for real. Now I can say what we really were doing. Now I can show you guys. Come Saturday, if you guys are not subscribed to me on YouTube, subscribe. Saturday, I’m breaking the internet.
“I promise you, it’s going to be internet breaking. This entire camp has been a movie.”
Woodley vs. Paul takes place this Sunday, August 29, at a SHOWTIME Sports event at Rocket Mortgage Fieldhouse in Paul’s hometown of Cleveland, Ohio.
