At this point, I don’t think UFC will have any trouble filling up the UFC 249 pay-per-view (PPV) fight card, despite the fact that its original headliner, Khabib Nurmagomedov, is stranded in Dagestan by way of coronavirus quarantine.

Opponent Tony Ferguson now has the option to fight fellow lightweight contender Justin Gaethje, while top welterweight striker, Jorge Masvidal, has thrown his name into the hat for a Kamaru Usman title fight, also on April 18.

Go ahead and add Tyron Woodley to that list.

“Me vs. Qweefington [on] April 18th unless Tony wanna roll back up to his Ultimate Fighter weight for the bag,” Woodley wrote on Twitter. “Welterweight bout won’t take no cheese out his lightweight macaroni.”

Macaroni and cheese is best with baked croutons on top, don’t @ me.

“I’ll go full Teddy Roosevelt and beat the breaks off Woodley live from The White House lawn,” Covington replied. “Save sports and make it free on ESPN for the people! I’m in such a giving mood I’ll even arrange a tour of the oval office for Tyrone, since Obama never did.”

I think Leon Edwards might have something to say about that
