WrestleMania 34 went down today in New Orleans, and former UFC women’s bantamweight champion Ronda Rousey exceeded expectations in her official WWE in-ring debut. She may not have had the most polished working punch and not everything went perfectly, but she showed off some great strength and took some pretty good bumps in her debut.

After a bunch of twists and turns where Rousey even got physical with Triple H, she was able to secure an armbar on Stephanie McMahon to get the win for her and partner Kurt Angle. McMahon also showed off better armbar defense than the likes of Miesha Tate and Sarah Kaufman, which was more than a bit strange.

In the main event, Brock Lesnar competed in what could have been his final WWE match when he defended the Universal title against Roman Reigns. Lesnar, who is strongly rumored to be making a return to the UFC soon, surprisingly went over and retained his title. After bloodying Reigns with an elbow, he shocked the crowd with the three count and got his hand raised.

So who knows what happens on Raw tomorrow night.

In other news, the WWE swerved the fans for a bit before they gave them The Undertaker, who destroyed John Cena and pinned him clean. Asuka’s streak is over, due to tapping out to a Charlotte Flair submission. And Braun Strowman picked a young boy out of the crowd to be his tag team partner, and he even tagged into the match briefly, before winning the tag titles from The Bar. I assume this was some sort of Make A Wish thing, though it wasn’t named as such on the show.
