Check out all the results for a long, long WrestleMania 35 show.
WrestleMania 35 went down in East Rutherford, New Jersey today, and even the most ardent WWE fan was probably exhausted by the end of it. 16 matches and over seven hours later, here were are.
In the main event, Becky Lynch handed Ronda Rousey her first pinfall loss in the WWE, hitting her with a quick rollup after a solid if unspectacular 20ish minutes of action. The two ladies, along with Charlotte Flair, tried their best but the crowd seemed a bit burned out by the length of the show. The finish was a bit awkward too.
Earlier in the show, we saw Olympic gold medalist Kurt Angle have his last match, falling to Baron Corbin. We got some retro John Cena, who came out in his old rapping gimmick to give the crowd some Doctor of Thuganomics styling. And Roman Reigns returned to action after a leukemia scare, beating Drew McIntyre.
In what was probably the best match on the card, KofiMania got it’s rightful payoff and Kofi Kingston defeated Daniel Bryan for the WWE Championship.
Somewhat surprisingly, Brock Lesnar was the curtain jerker of the main card, dropping the WWE Universal title to Seth Rollins in under three minutes. That will certainly fuel some more “returning to the UFC” talk. Avid wrestling fan and UFC dual champ Daniel Cormier actually commented on it on Twitter:
Ha, Brock got beat up
