Penn State dominated reigning NCAA wrestling champions Ohio State 24-14 in front of 15,983 fans.
Penn State have improved to 13-0 this season with a dominant victory over Ohio State. Penn State, the top ranked team in the country, looked strong throughout as they bested last years champions. Some 15,983 fans turned up to the Bryce Jordan Center and they weren’t to be disappointed as the The Nittany Lions strolled to an overall victory over the ever-tough Buckeyes.
While the home team would reign victorious, it was the away team that would draw first blood. In the opening match, Ohio State’s number 1 ranked Nathan Tomasello picked up a victory over Nico Megaludis, but that was a rare glimpse of success in an overall disappointing day for the Buckeyes.
Following a dominant evening for The Nittany Lions, world champion Kyle Snyder, took to the mat to restore some face for the Buckeyes scoring a technical fall over Jan Johnson in the closing match of the evening.
