World Series of Fighting (WSOF) Lightweight champion Justin Gaethje will defend his 155-pound belt against short notice opponent, Luiz Firmino (19-7), after his originally-scheduled opponent, Joao Zeferino, was forced to withdraw from the NBC Sports Network-televised main event with an undisclosed injury, according to MMAFighting.com.

Even though Brian Foster snapped his six-fight win streak with a controversial win at WSOF 33, Firmino could make a much bigger statement if he hands the undefeated (16-0) Gaethje his first professional mixed martial arts (MMA) loss.
