All 10 main-card fighters made weight Friday for Saturday’s World Series of Fighting 4 card at Citizen Business Bank Arena in Ontario, Calif.
This incudes, of course, headliners Tyrone Spong and Angel DeAnda, who both clocked in for their light heavyweight bout at 205 pounds.
The undercard, though, wasn’t without issues. Lew Polley showed up so overweight for his planned light heavyweight bout with Hans Stringer that the fight was scrapped entirely, without even an attempt at an official weigh-in. There will be no replacement fight.
Meanwhile, Jorge Santiago checked in at 172.4 for his welterweight bout with Gerald Harris on his initial weigh-in, In his second attempt, Santiago made it at 170.2.
