Full disclosure: I’m in my forties, I live in the suburbs, I drive a KIA Soul, and I wear a waistcoat to pro wrestling events. I’m about as lame as they come, so when UFC welterweight Mike Perry starts tweeting and it sounds important, I call for reinforcements.
WTF does BUMBOCLOT BATIMON mean?
I tried to slide into the Urban Dictionary but all I got in return was some mumbo jumbo about sanitary napkins, another topic I know very little about. But hey, I do know how a Shewee works (thanks Miesha).
Anyway, Perry is battling Alex Oliveira this weekend in Ft. Lauderdale (details) and it sounds like he’s hoping to use his post-fight interview on ESPN+ — presupposing a victory — to blast some of his fellow welterweights.
Not that it matters, as win or lose I’m sure “Platinum” will keep his Twitter followers happy with a post-fight celebration akin to this legendary gem.
