Rejected!

Nate Diaz scored his first boxing win last night (Sat., July 6, 2024) when he defeated Jorge Masvidal via majority decision from inside the Honda Center in Anaheim, Calif. (watch highlights).

After the fight, Diaz called for rematches with Jake Paul and UFC Welterweight champion Leon Edwards, which was expected.

Watch out the callout.

Paul responded to Diaz on Twitter within a few minutes and trashed his call out.

“F—k you Nate Diaz you’re a hoe who ducked my PFL $15m MMA offer,” Paul wrote. “Masvidal trash too smh.”

Paul defeated Diaz last year in a lopsided, dominant unanimous decision (watch highlights). After the fight, Diaz was open to a rematch in mixed martial arts (MMA), which Paul happily accepted.

Unfortunately, Paul wanted to fight in the Professional Fighters League (PFL), but Diaz said, “F—k PFL,” and gave up on a rumored $10 million payday.

PFL CEO Donn Davis upped the ante to $15 million, but Diaz rejected that too.

So, for now, it looks like a good old stalemate, but ultimately, who cares?

Paul is getting ready to box Mike Perry on July 20 and then Mike Tyson later this Nov., once Tyson recovers from his ulcer flareup.
