Newly-crowned UFC strawweight champion Weili Zhang hits back at Henry Cejudo.
UFC double-champ Henry Cejudo has not been shy with calling out female fighters. From fellow champions Amanda Nunes and Valentina Shevchenko, he now has newly-minted UFC strawweight titleholder Weili Zhang in his crosshairs, as well.
To be fair, it was Zhang who first spoke about possibly fighting Cejudo during the post-fight scrum, which the latter only responded to.
Oh so you’re a comedian now too, Weili? Well just let me know when you are ready for some real competition and you too can bend the knee to Triple C! #intergenderchamp https://t.co/1ckqw54Yug

Zhang continued the exchange with Cejudo in a recent Instagram post, sending the same message as Shevchenko previously did.
Tripple C, One Weili is coming to #UFC242 Abu Dhabi, you better hide or I’m taking your gold back to Beijing. #bendtheknee#rememberme #represented#grrrlarmy #zhangweili
Zhang notched an impressive win on Saturday night in the UFC’s debut event in Shenzhen, China, where she dethroned Jessica Andrade inside 42 seconds of action via TKO. The victory put her in the history books as the first UFC champion from China. She also bagged an extra $50,000 for Performance of the Night.
