UFC Fight Night 21, which precedes the debut episode of “The Ultimate Fighter 11,” takes place March 31 at Bojangles Coliseum in Charlotte, N.C., and airs on Spike TV.

Efrain Escudero’s recent MRI showed no serious injuries from his UFC Fight Night 20 submission loss to Evan Dunham, and bout agreements will now be distributed for his UFC 114 matchup with Dan Lauzon.

UFC 114 takes place May 29 at the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas, and the night’s main card airs on pay-per-view.

Courtney Buck (6-2 MMA, 0-1 WEC) has replaced Bryan Caraway and meets fellow featherweight Fredson Paixao (8-3 MMA, 0-1 WEC) on the preliminary card of next month’s WEC 47 event.

A source close to the event today confirmed the change with MMAjunkie.com and said Buck vs. Paixao will be the final fight added to the card.

WEC 47 takes place March 6 at Nationwide Arena in Columbus, Ohio. The night’s main card airs on Versus.

The last couple of weeks the MMA world has been ripe with ‘critical observations’, although to be fair, Chael Sonnen has been responsible for 90% of the more noteworthy zingers. Today we were fortunate (or not depending on your view) to stumble upon a couple more ‘ouch’ comments, courtesy Paul “Semtex” Daley.

Since arriving in the UFC Daley hasn’t been shy about sharing his thoughts on various fighters with the media, a ‘gift for gab’ that has no doubt been accentuated by his stoppage wins over Martin Kampmann and Dustin Hazelett. (You may recall Daley’s back-and-forth with Mike Swick in the fall)

In May, Daley is supposed to face Swick’s teammate Josh Koscheck, another dude who rarely hears the words ‘oh come on Josh, tell us what you really think.’ Well, it appears as though Daley is going to be a willing participant in the ‘lets get you motivated’ department, as the Brit had a few choice words for “Kos” in a recent interview with Sidecontrol (including Koscheck’s ’it’s not sun bleached’ hairdo).

It’s going to be an entertaining fight, but I predict it being short and I predict Koscheck getting knocked out quite brutally to be honest with you, ‘cos I don’t like the guy ‘cos his hair’s shit! (laughs)
