‘Rowdy’ Bec Rawlings climbed back into the win column at BKFC KnuckleMania 5 in Philadelphia on Saturday night.
After coming up short in her last three outings inside the squared circle, the former UFC fighter looked nothing short of spectacular as she largely dominated her scrap with ‘Killa Bee’ throughout the five-round affair.
Starling came out aggressive and attempted to close the distance early, but ate a nasty counter-right from Rawlings that sent her crashing to the canvas in the opening round. Starling answered the count and never once backed down, but she was unable to match the volume of Rawlings and ultimately came up short on all three judges’ scorecards as a result.
Official Result: Bec Rawlings def. Taylor Starling via unanimous decision (50-44, 49-45, 50-44)

Taylor Starling and former UFC fighter ‘Rowdy’ Bec Rawlings put on a show before the show.
Emanating from Wells Fargo Arena in Philadelphia, Bare Knuckle Fighting Championship will deliver its fifth annual KnuckleMania event headlined by a showdown between former UFC lightweight champion Eddie Alvarez and 20-year veteran Jeremy ‘Lil Heathen’ Stephens.
Rounding out the top of the card will be a women’s bare-knuckle bout that is sure to bring the fireworks as BKFC mainstay Taylor Starling meets TUF alumnus Bec Rawlings.
Ahead of their highly anticipated clash in The City of Brotherly Love, Starling and Rawlings went face-to-face for the final time. Needless to say, their intense staredown offered a little something for every kind of fight fan out there. Check out the video clip below courtesy of MMA Junkie:

Taylor Starling is 4-3 under the BKFC banner with wins over Charisa Sigala, Cassie Robb, Hannah Guy, and Jenny Savage. Her fight with Sigala at the inaugural KnuckleMania event in 2021 is still considered to be one of the wildest fights in promotional history.
Meanwhile, Rawlings goes into her seventh appearance in the promotion with a 3-3 record and riding a three-fight losing streak, including back-to-back losses against reigning women’s flyweight titleholder Christine Ferea.

McGregor showed up late for Thursday’s press event ahead of Saturday’s BKFC KnuckleMania V card in Philadelphia, PA. Once he stepped on stage and took the podium, the Irish megastar apologized … for absolutely nothing!
“Oh, Philly,” McGregor said. “Sorry I’m late. I don’t give a f*ck. I’m the big boss around here,” McGregor said. “Philadelphia, what’s up? I’m here to summon the gods of fighting into action. May they turn our combatants’ knuckles to knives. And on Saturday night, may we all bleed in the honor of Philadelphia’s rich fighting history.
“May we, as Bare Knuckle Fighting Championship’s organization, the alien of combat sport, rise above the night’s sky and rain down blows viciously, and prove our worth against any deniers” (h/t MMA Junkie).
Conor McGregor backs former foe eddie alvarez in knuckleMania headliner
McGregor was also on hand to oversee the faceoff between KnuckleMania main eventers Eddie Alvarez and Jeremy Stephens. Of course, the Irishman has a history with Alvarez, defeating ‘The Underground King’ in November 2016 to capture the UFC lightweight championship.
Despite having a history with both Alvarez and Stephens, ‘Mystic Mac’ made it pretty clear who he was backing ahead of Saturday’s event inside Wells Fargo Arena.
“May local boy and former UFC lightweight champion, former Bellator world champion, shut this man up over here, Jeremy Stephens,” McGregor said. “He’s coming in here into Philadelphia on this great sporting weekend and trying to take you out, Eddie. This is as big a fight as it gets with world title fight implications. Like I said, combatants, turn your knuckles into knives.
“Bleed in the honor of Philadelphia’s rich fighting history and show the people what Bare Knuckle Fighting Championship is about. Let’s go, Philadelphia. Let’s go, Bare Knuckle Fighting Championship.”
