Current UFC 134 Betting Odds– On August 27, 2011, UFC will hold their first live event from Rio de Janiero, Brazil. The featured bout will pit the UFC Middleweight champion, Brazil’s own Anderson “Spider” Silva, against long-suffering top contender Yushin “Thunder” Okami. Silva has been tearing through the division for years, but Okami has made a very strong case for being the top contender. For a variety of reasons, though, Okami has seen his title shot pushed back time after time, and now he has the opportunity to become UFC’s first Japanese-born champion. Silva’s striking and jiu-jitsu are deadly, but he has shown some trouble dealing with dominant wrestlers who have some striking prowess, so Okami is going to be one of his toughest challenges yet. Okami can box very effectively and has dominant takedowns and positional control. If he can exploit Silva’s subpar takedown defense and avoid leaving himself exposed for any submissions like Chael Sonnen did, Okami might be in a perfect position to pull off the upset and capitalize on his long sought-after title shot.

Current UFC On Versus 5 Betting Odds– Live on Sunday, August 14, 2011 at The Bradley Center in Milwaukee, Wisconsin.  Chris “Lights out” Lytle(30-18-5) will take on Dan “The Outlaw” Hardy (23-9-1) in the Main Event. Current UFC 132 Betting Odds – On June 2, 2011, UFC 132 will be airing live from the Mandalay Bay Events Center in Las Vegas, Nevada. In the main event of the evening, Bantamweight king Dominick “The Dominator” Cruz (17-1-0) will look to avenge the only loss of his professional career against former 145 pound champ Urijah “The California Kid” Faber (25-4-0). Current UFC On Versus 4 Betting Odds– On Sunday, June 26, 2011, the UFC Live series will run its fourth installment live from the Consol Energy Center in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. Headlining the card is a big Middleweight showdown between former title challenger Nate “The Great” Marquardt (31-10-2) and surging wrestler Rick “Horror” Story (13-3-0). Current Strikeforce Odds – On April 9, 2011, live from the Valley View Casino Center in San Diego, California, Strikeforce Welterweight champion Nick Diaz (24-7-0) will put his title on the line against skilled striker and fellow UFC alum Paul “Semtex” Daley (27-9-2). Daley has been on a tear since being cut from the UFC after throwing a punch at Josh Koscheck after losing a lopsided unanimous decision, but Diaz’s unique blend of unorthodox striking and world-class jiu jitsu have netted him a nine fight win streak and the Strikeforce crown, so Daley is going to need a stellar performance if he wants to capture the gold. Diaz has the clear edge on the ground, but he has proven willing to stand and trade shots with anyone, and against Daley that could spell trouble. Daley is going to need to fight a smart fight and Diaz is going to have to mix up his striking and grappling well, so this one should be quite exciting.
