Big ups to our buddies over at Questionable Stoppage for turning us on (no pun intended) to Jess Mao, a 28 year-old model/ring girl for several Bay area promotions including Arius and Gallus FC. Mao recently sat down for an exclusive interview and photoshoot with QS, where she briefly touched upon her hectic childhood, her current training regimen at American Kickboxing Academy, and what led her to get involved in MMA in the first place.

Yesterday’s Fight Night 66 media day workouts was a landmark occasion for a variety of reasons. Not only did it kick off the UFC’s first ever trip to the Philippines ahead of this weekend’s fight between Frankie Edgar and Urijah Faber — which is being hailed as “the closest thing to a superfight we’ve had in some time” (!!!!) — but it also set the stage for the UFC to introduce its first-ever Filipina ring girl. Please, try and contain your excitement.
That ring girl was none other than Red Dela Cruz, a popular Filipina model and PXC ring girl who was chosen from a pool of a couple hundred applicants as part of the UFC’s Asia Ring Girl search. A monumental occasion, indeed. In any case, check out our favorite photos (plus a bonus video) of Ms. Cruz after the jump, and make sure to follow her on Instagram and Twitter.

You know, when there’s not much to talk about in the MMA world, we love that we have the artistic freedom to shamelessly promote the oft-underappreciated brand ambassadors of the sport. We’re talking about ring girls, of course, aka the select group of people that Ronda Rousey hates with every fiber of her being.
Maybe it’s just me, but I simply cannot look at someone like UK-based card carrier Jessica Adele up there and react with negativity or hatred (though I’m sure many of you taters will be able to drum some up for me). Ms. Adele has been busting her hump(s) for various MMA and kickboxing organizations over the past years — most notably Full Contact Contender — and while she may not put in the “work” of a Rousey or even a Tate, she still works, dammit, and isn’t that enough?
Anyways, check out 14 of our favorite photos of Jessica after the jump, and make sure to support your local ring girls by voting yes on Prop 13.

Just in time for the holidays, Babes of MMA has once again come through with the gift that keeps on giving, that of T-n’-A. Chelsie Aryn is a 22-year-old model and ring girl for Cage Wars, an amatuer MMA promotion out of…Albany, NY?! By gawd, that’s less than an hour’s drive from my hometown!
Check out 17 of our favorite photos of Ms. Aryn in the gallery after the jump, and make sure to follow her on Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, or all three!

Kayla Lou is a 23 year-old British beauty who has been carrying the cards at muay Thai, K1 kickboxing, and boxing events over at Total Full Contact for a few years now (one can only imagine how many times the name of that promotion has been used as a pun to hit on her). A model since 2009, Kayla has scored promotional gigs for WWE America, Sunday Sports and Monster Energy, and is also a Playboy Miss Social contestant. When she’s not strutting her stuff in the octagon, this mother of one has actually been setting up a promotion called G-Man Promotions, which will hold its first MMA and K1 Kickboxing mixed event in March.
