A heavyweight bout between Stefan Struve and Sean McCorkle is in the works for UFC 124.
Sources with knowledge of the fight confirmed to MMA Fighting that a match between two of the tallest fighters in the promotion’s history has been agreed to. Additionally, MMA Fighting’s Ariel Helwani has confirmed with sources close to the promotion that the bout will take place.
UFC 124 will be the promotion’s 24th and final card of 2010 – its busiest year ever – and will take place at the Bell Centre in Montreal, the second UFC pay-per-view there this year. The main event will feature a welterweight title fight between champion Georges St-Pierre and Josh Koscheck, opposing coaches on the current 12th season of “The Ultimate Fighter.”
