Fedor Emelianenko makes his film debut in the Russian suspense thriller, “The Salamander Key”. It’s not that big of news for us because the movie is entirely in Russian so we will probably never see it , but we do wonder… Could this be the reason he lost his fight with Antonio Silva in the Strikeforce Heavyweight Grand Prix Tournament? We’ve seen our favorite fighters like Quinton “Rampage” Jackson take time to make a Hollywood Blockbuster here and even Stephan Bonnar made this possibly really good film and then comeback to the cage with a poor showing. We’re not sure when this flick was shot and if it actually contributed to Fedor’s loss, but it makes a better excuse than this one. Watch the movie trailer below:
