News of Dollaway’s injury and the replacement in Camozzi, were both reported by Tatame.com this afternoon.

UFC on FX: Belfort vs. Rockhold (aka UFC on FX 8) is expected to take place on May 18, 2013 at the Arena Jaraguá in Jaraguá do Sul, Brazil. The event will see former UFC champ Vitor Belfort welcome the last Strikeforce 185-lbs title holder, Luke Rockhold, to the Octagon.

Dollaway and Ferreira were to open the FX broadcasted main card, fans can expect the match to remain in the same position on the card with Camozzi stepping in.

Camozzi was in action earlier this month in Montreal at UFC 158 where he won his fourth straight bout by defeating Canadian Nick Ring by split decision. The trip to Brazil will be Camozzi’s second in the past year having won a decision against Luiz Cane last October at UFC 153.

Ferreira made his UFC debut last June at UFC 147 by winning the middleweight tournament of The Ultimate Fighter Brazil. He would face replacement fighter Sergio Moraes and go on to win by decision. The victory put Ferreira back in the win column after suffering a knockout loss in his previous fight back in August 2011.

Dollaway is 2-2 with back-to-back wins under his belt. He fought earlier this year in Brazil by winning a split decision against Daniel Sarafian at the UFC on FX 7 event.
