UFC on FOX 8 is expected to take place on July 27, 2013 at the Key Arena in Seattle, Washington. The main event for the Pacific Northwest show has yet to be confirmed.

With Chiesa and Madadi coming off wins both men are certain to appear on the television broadcast prelim card.

Chiesa has appeared in two times in the Octagon and picked up submission victories in both matches. Most recently he fought at UFC 157 in February where he submitted opponent Anton Kuivanen in the second round. ‘Maverick’ made his Octagon debut in June 2012 by winning the TUF 15 Finale, choking out Al Iaquinta for the victory and the contract.

Madadi fought earlier this month in Sweden, using a d’arce choke to submit Michael Johnson at the UFC on FUEL TV 9 event. ‘Mad Dog’ dropped his prior match in October, losing by split decision versus Cristiano Marcello at UFC 153 in Rio. Madadi debuted at the first UFC Sweden event one year ago by submitting Yoislandy Izquierdo.
