Invicta FC wrapped its 2013 schedule with its seventh successful event.

Even with losing a title bout on the morning of the show, Shannon Knapp and company still had two title tilts and six other fights to fill the card with exciting action.

The all-women’s fight promotion began in spring 2012, and it continues to gain a foothold in the MMA marketplace. More and more fans are discovering the women’s side of the sport, and Invicta FC is the place to go for the action.

If you have not already discovered Invicta FC, you should. Here are three reasons why you should not miss the eighth show when it comes your way in 2014.

The Pace

Invicta FC’s pace is fast. There is little time between fights.

That’s great for fans.

The biggest break in action comes between the preliminary card and the main card, and that is generally only after a couple of fights. The main cards have been at least six fights long and sometimes feature multiple championship bouts.

When two fighters exit the cage, the music hits for another competitor’s entrance almost immediately. There is little wasted time.

It’s the perfect pace for casual fans. Order some food, kick back and be treated to fight after fight.

The UFC

The leader in mixed martial arts just recently poached 11 strawweights from Invicta FC in order to begin its own 115-pound division, but that’s no reason to stop watching Invicta.

Over the next couple of years, we will probably see the UFC look toward adding another division or two in women’s MMA as the sport grows. Those fighters will also come from Invicta.

It is the home of the next big stars of women’s MMA, and even in the two divisions that the UFC already has, you will see prospects come through Invicta before getting the call-up to the big time.

In the three divisions yet to make an appearance in the UFC, you will see the stars of today, and for the other two divisions, you will see the stars of tomorrow. Familiarize yourself with them now and watch their careers grow.

Every Card Is Exciting

The main reason to tune into Invicta FC is that the fights are exciting.

If you are a fan of combat sports, you will love the action put forth on each and every Invicta card. The women bring it.

Every single card has had multiple bouts that leave you wanting more. From technical battles to the…well, not so technical, you get a full mix of action on Invicta cards. The young organization has produced Fight of the Year contenders and extraordinary finishes.

Through seven events, there has yet to be even a mediocre showing. Every show has been exciting. As a fan, you cannot ask for anything more. The events are an excellent and affordable way to spend a Saturday night.
