UFC Fight Night 58 medical suspensions: C.B. Dollaway and two others potentially out six months

C.B. Dollaway lasted 62 seconds against Lyoto Machida, and the vicious body kick landed by “The Dragon” can force “The Doberman” to be out six months.

The Brazilian MMA Athletic Commission (CABMMA) announced Monday the list of UFC Fight Night 58 medical suspensions after the Saturday night event in Barueri, Brazil, and Dollaway is among three fighters that could be out six months.

Dollaway can return earlier if after getting his ribs checked. On Sunday morning, the middleweight fighter told MMAFighting.com he will do the exam in the United States, but his ribs were “just really sore at the moment.”

CABMMA medical director Dr. Marcio Tannure told MMAFighting.com that Dollaway probably didn’t suffer any fractures, but needs to confirm with an x-ray exam before getting cleared to train and fight again.

Marcio Alexandre Jr. and Mike Rhodes, who suffered losses to Tim Means and Erick Silva, respectively, are also sidelined 180 days pending x-ray exams.
