Anderson Silva returns to the Octagon on Jan. 31 in Las Vegas, and he’s training hard for a middleweight clash with former Strikeforce 170-pound champion Nick Diaz.
Returning to the cage following a gruesome leg injury against Chris Weidman in 2013, Silva is “kicking f—ing hard”, according to longtime sparring partner Rafael Cavalcante, and now there’s video to prove it.
In an interview that recently aired on Globo in Brazil, Silva can be seen knocking out sparring partner Douglas Moura (5-1) in his last sparring session at Team Nogueira before flying to the United States for his return to competition at UFC 183.
Silva headlines UFC 183 against Diaz at the MGM Grand Garden Arena, and will be the next in line for a shot at the UFC title with a win.
