California was host to a mixed martial arts event from each of the two major promotions with UFC 121 this past Saturday, and Strikeforce Challengers 11 on Friday night.
This past Tuesday the California State Athletic Commission released the fighter salaries for each event. A total of $55,000 was paid out to fighters participating on Fridays Strikeforce Challenges 11 show, which took place at the Savemart Center in Fresno, Calif.
The top two earners for the Strikeforce show were Lavar Johnson and Billy Evangelista, who both walked away with $10,000 payouts after their wins on the Showtime broadcast.
