Another lightweight bout was added to the Fight Night card in Germany.
Rising lightweight Mairbek Taisumov will meet undefeated Brazilian Alan Patrick at the UFC Fight Night 69 card in Berlin, Germany, on June 20. Patrick confirmed the match-up on his social media following a report by Combate.
Taisumov (23-5), who finished Tony Christodoulou earlier this year at UFC on FOX 14, looks for his third win in a row in the Octagon after stopping Marcin Bandel in 61 seconds in 2014. The Tiger Muay Thai talent is 3-1 under the UFC banner.
Patrick (12-0) finally returns to the cage after recovering from a broken jaw that forced him out of a UFC 179 clash with Beneil Dariush. A teammate of Anderson Silva, Ronaldo Souza, Rafael Cavalcante and Erick Silva at X-Gym, “Nuguete,” is 2-0 in the UFC with wins over John Makdessi and Garett Whiteley.
