Jonas Bilharinho scores vicious knockout, becomes Jungle Fight’s first two-division champion

Jonas Bilharinho won another Jungle Fight belt.

The Brazilian prospect, who won the bantamweight title with a win over Mario Israel in 2014, needed 86 seconds to knock Fabiano Nogueira out cold with a vicious head kick and win the featherweight gold at Saturday night’s Jungle Fight 76 in Itu.

“Speed” Bilharinho, who tried out for The Ultimate Fighter: Brazil 4 but wasn’t approved by the UFC, improved to 6-0-1 as a mixed martial artist.

Jungle Fight crowned two other champions at the Prudente de Moraes gymnasium.

In the co-main event, Ericka Almeida (7-0) defended the strawweight gold with a first round submission over Jennifer Gonzalez (1-1), tapping her opponent with a triangle choke.

In the main event, Bruno Lopez (5-0) dominated Jose Diaz (5-1) for three rounds to win the vacant 170-pound title via unanimous decision.
