Court McGee will finally return to the Octagon in December.
Sidelined due to several injuries and surgeries, the winner of the 11th season of The Ultimate Fighter is scheduled to take on TUF Brazil 3 runner-up Marcio Alexandre Jr. at UFC 194.
The pay-per-view event is set to take place at the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas on Dec. 12.
McGee (16-4) returns almost two years after suffering his first defeat as a welterweight, on Dec, 4, 2013, losing a decision against Ryan LaFlare at on FOX 9. Prior to the loss, “The Crusher” defeated Josh Neer and Robert Whittaker.
Alexandre (12-2), who competed at TUF Brazil 3 as a middleweight, dropped to 0-2 under the UFC banner after a split decision loss to Tim Means last December. The Brazilian was scheduled to meet George Sullivan in July, but pulled out with a rib injury.
UFC 194 features featherweight champion Jose Aldo and middleweight kingpin Chris Weidman putting UFC their titles on the line against interim titleholder Conor McGregor and Luke Rockhold, respectively.
