Nick Osipczak“Slick” Nick Osipczak (5-3) has been cut from the Ultimate Fighting Championship’s welterweight roster.

The fighter, who earned a spot with the promotion as a member of “Team United Kingdom” on season 9 of “The Ultimate Fighter”, was dropped after losing three straight matches.

Osipczack last appeared at UFC 122 on Nov. 13th in Oberhausen, Germany. He faced Duane Ludwig in the opening Spike TV broadcast, losing a split decision. The other two losses, both coming in 2010, would be to Greg Soto, unanimous decision loss at UFC 118, and to Rick Story, another split decision defeat at UFC 112.

In all, Osipczack would go 2-3 with the promotion, defeating Frank Lester at the “TUF 9 Finale” and then Matt Riddle at UFC 105 to clinch his first UFC victories.

The Brit trains out of the Rough House camp in Nottingham and could earn his way back into the UFC by putting a few wins together.
