Two nearly identical images of Ronda Rousey. One glaring, retouched difference.
The woman in the photo on the left with the bigger bicep can pack a mean punch, and the touted UFC fighter likes it that way.
To promote her appearance on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon, Rousey posted the slimmer-armed, Photoshopped image to her Instagram, unaware it had been modified.
Once she was notified some nine hours later, she resolved to clear the air, posting both the altered photo and the original side-by-side.
Among the things written in the caption was the adamant affirmation that the gaffe was just that—unintentional. Rousey further drove home her stance by writing, “This goes against everything I believe and I am extremely proud of every inch of my body.”
And that almost goes without saying, coming from someone who recently bared it all (with a little body paint) for Sports Illustrated‘s swimsuit issue.
Still, a little positive body-image promotion never hurt anyone. Way to be, Ronda!
