Former “TUF 11″ housemates Chris Camozzi (14-3) and Kyle Noke (18-4-1) appear to ready to face one another in Australia at UFC 127.
The news was posted by Camozzi on his Facebook page.
Camozzi would win his way into the “TUF” house but a broken jaw would force him off the show during the third episode. He would still get a shot with the UFC, making an appearance at the “TUF 11 Finale,” defeating James Hammortree by unanimous decision. He would go on to face Korean fighter Dong Yi Yang in October of this year, earning a split decision win at the UFC 121 event. So far Camozzi has won four straight and is 6-1 in his last seven fights.
Noke, a native Australian, will fight in front of his home town crowd when he steps into the octagon against Camozzi. The fighter would go on to face teammate, and eventual “TUF 11″ finalist Kris McCray, in the quarter-finals losing a unanimous decision on the show. So far in the UFC Noke is 2-0 with a four fight win streak, and is 7-1-1 in his last nine fights. He defeated Josh Bryant by TKO in his UFC debut at the “TUF 11 Finale” and submitted Rob Kimmons at UFC 122 in Germany.
UFC 127 is likely set for February 27th at Acer Arena in Sydney, Australia.
