Rafael dos Anjos got injured, and Nate Diaz has stepped in on short notice to take on Conor McGregor in what now will be a welterweight bout. The lightweight champ, on his part, has since sent out an apology for having to pull out of the high profile super-fight:

“Sorry to all my real fans and @ufc, I have 32 professional fights on my career and I never cancel any fight due to injuries, but it is a contact sport and injuries happen, I believe that God knows everything and he have a better plans for me”
