UFC 196 is now underway.

The event is headlined by a grudge match between Conor McGregor and Nate Diaz. McGregor, the current featherweight champion, will fight two weight divisions above the one he currently reigns over as he looks to push his unblemished UFC record to 8-0. Diaz, a short-notice replacement for Rafael dos Anjos, last competed at lightweight, and he carries a 5-3 record over the course of his last eight bouts.

In the co-main event of the evening, bantamweight champion Holly Holm defends her title against perennial challenger Miesha Tate. Holm captured the title last November, dethroning former champion Ronda Rousey with an iconic head-kick knockout. Tate has posted four straight wins since unsuccessfully challenging for the strap back in December 2013.
