While Ronda Rousey kept fans waiting for her Octagon return in favor of Hollywood opportunities, which ended up resulting in her immediate rematch with Holly Holm being ruined, Conor McGregor doesn’t seem to be following suit.

It was reported by ESPN’s Brett Okamoto on SportsCenter this week that the reigning UFC Featherweight Champion has cancelled his scheduled appearance in the new Vin Diesel “XXX” film because he doesn’t want any distractions leading up to his rumored immediate rematch against Nate Diaz at UFC 200.

As noted on Monday, it is being reported that UFC has sent contracts to both McGregor and Diaz for a rematch at 170-pounds at the upcoming landmark UFC 200 event in the new T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas, Nevada on July 9, 2016. According to reports, the McGregor-Diaz II fight is expected to be announced by the UFC at some point this week.
