Former UFC Light Heavyweight Champion Jon Jones was cleared of charges related to his recent traffic violation in New Mexico.
“Bones” Jones was pulled over for going 75 MPH in a 35 MPH-zone back in January and failed to produce his license, registration and proof of insurance.
The UFC star appeared on court on Wednesday and provided the proper documentation and made a $100 donation to the New Mexico Animal Humane Society as a sign of good faith. As long as he stays out of trouble for the next 90 days, he will be good to go.
Jones challenges UFC Light Heavyweight Champion Daniel Cormier in a rematch in his next fight, as he attempts to win back the title he never lost inside the Octagon in the main event of UFC 197 on April 23, 2016 in Las Vegas, Nevada.
