Well, the injury bug has bitten the main event of UFC 197.
Daniel Cormier was scheduled to defend his light heavyweight title against Jon Jones in the main event of UFC 197. MMA Fighting is reporting that Cormier pulled out of the fight due to injury. The UFC has yet to comment on the bout change.
The UFC could find a replacement for Cormier to fight Jones on late notice, or they could move the Demetrious Johnson – Henry Cejudo fight from the co-main event to the main event.
