During the UFC’s International Fight Week launch event on Friday, a tweet from UFC Featherweight Champion Conor McGregor was read and reacted to by Nate Diaz.
McGregor took to Twitter during the event and tweeted the following comment:
“Everyone flew in. Respect. But not everyone up there made the company 400million in 8 months.”
When the tweet was read out loud, Nate Diaz was asked for his reaction. Diaz simply replied, “Conor got his ass beat!”
As noted, it was revealed during the UFC launch event on Friday that McGregor is still off of the UFC 200 event, Diaz is still without an opponent (and claims he won’t fight anyone but McGregor at UFC 200) and a main event for the show is still being worked on.
Everyone flew in. Respect.
