According to a report by Jeremy Botter, the planned rematch between Conor McGregor and Nate Diaz will now take place at UFC 202 on August 20.
No location or venue for the event has been reported.
On Friday, rumors started pouring out concerning a possible McGregor-Floyd Mayweather boxing match coming together. McGregor, the reigning UFC featherweight champion, remains under contract with the UFC despite his refusal to do a press tour for UFC 200.
Officials removed McGregor – and eventually Diaz – from the July 9 card after the ordeal.
Earlier this year, Diaz submitted McGregor in the second round in a welterweight battle.
Besides, McGregor/Diaz is 99% done for the UFC 202 main event on August 20, anyway.
