After signing a new eight-fight contract extension with the UFC this week, welterweight contender “The Immortal” Matt Brown has his latest Octagon assignment.
Brown will look to bounce back from his UFC 198 loss to Demian Maia earlier this month when he meets Jake Ellenberger in a 170-pound showdown in July.
According to ESPN, Brown-Ellenberger has been verbally agreed to for the upcoming UFC 201 pay-per-view.
Headlined by Robbie Lawler vs. Tyron Woodley for the UFC Welterweight Championship, UFC 201 is scheduled for Saturday, July 30, 2016 at Philips Arena in Atlanta, Georgia.
