UFC middleweight champion Michael Bisping returned to his hosting duties on “UFC Tonight” Wednesday and addressed fighters calling him out.
Bisping, who has been asking for a rematch with Dan Henderson for his first title defense, let it be known that he is really bothered by all the comments made by his fellow fighters in his typical “funny” approach.
“I don’t know why. I think I’m a nice guy,” he said. “I’m respectful. I never trash talk. Now everyone wants to fight me. It’s upsetting me really.”
As for one of those fighters, former champion Chris Weidman, Bisping had this to say in response to talk of illegal drug use:
“This is the most ridiculous thing I’ve ever heard of. Just because I beat Luke (Rockhold), who beat him, he thinks I must be on something,” he said. “I’ve been tested more than anyone. I’ve never tested positive. You’re an intelligent guy, Chris. I didn’t take your title, I took it from Luke, who took it from you when he beat the daylights out of you.”
