The last several weeks have seen a ton of rumor and speculation as to who the coaches for the upcoming thirteenth season of “The Ultimate Fighter” reality series.
UFC president Dana White is still trying to figure out which two fighters it will be, but after a comment today at the press conference in Brazil, they should have it figured out by the end of the week.
“We could have it done by Friday.”
That statement could be heavily tied into Thursday’s WEC 53 event with the bantamweight title fight between Dominick Cruz vs. Scott Jorgensen, with the winner possibly coaching against Urijah Faber and eventually squaring off for the UFC bantamweight title.
Other names that have been thrown around over the past few weeks include Wanderlei Silva/Chael Sonnen and Brock Lesnar/Frank Mir.
And just because the UFC brass has identified who the two coaches will be doesn’t mean they’ll be letting the fans know, as White said they’d be keeping that information to themselves for awhile.
