Following yesterday’s announcement that mega-star Ronda Rousey will be returning to the Octagon against Amanda Nunes in the main event of UFC 207, MMA oddsmakers have began releasing their opening betting odds for the fight.
Currently, Rousey is listed as the favorite according to most oddsmakers, including popular online website Bovada.lv, as they set the face of Women’s MMA as a -200 against Nunes. Meanwhile, the Brazilian UFC Women’s 135-pound champion opened as a +160 underdog.
Based on the current betting odds, a $200 bet on Rousey would pocket you $100 profit if she beats Nunes. On the flip-side of the coin, a $100 bet will earn you $160 profit if she pulls off what is considered to be the upset victory.
UFC 207: Nunes vs. Rousey is scheduled to take place on Saturday, December 30, 2016 from the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas, Nevada. Join us here at MMANews.com on 12/30 for live coverage of the pay-per-view.
