Well, the plot concerning Georges St-Pierre’s next MMA fight thickens.
The UFC released a statement late Monday night that differs from the comments made earlier in the day by the former UFC welterweight champion.
“Georges St-Pierre remains under an existing agreement with Zuffa, LLC as his MMA promoter,” the statement read. “Zuffa intends to honor its agreement with St-Pierre and reserves its rights under the law to have St-Pierre do the same.”
St-Pierre went on “The MMA Hour” and stated that he was now a free agent after the UFC terminated his contract.
