Apparently Amanda Nunes vs. Ronda Rousey won’t be the only title match taking place at the UFC’s year-end pay-per-view in Las Vegas.
Multiple sources are reporting that Dominick Cruz vs. Cody Garbrandt is “in the works” for the December 30th PPV event in Nevada, which as noted, will feature a main event of Nunes-Rousey for the UFC Women’s Bantamweight Title.
Cruz defending his UFC Bantamweight Title on the 12/30 fight card had already been rumored after UFC President Dana White all but confirmed the news during a recent appearance on FOX Sports 1. The question was who would get the next shot at the champion — Garbrandt, TJ Dillashaw or someone else.
It looks like “No Love” is the fighter that the UFC has decided to go with.
UFC 207: Nunes vs. Rousey takes place on Saturday, December 30th from the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas, Nevada.
