Jon Jones tweeted a lot of advice for Ronda Rousey. One of them was to continue fighting, and the other is to look into joining a bigger MMA team.
Ronda Rousey suffered her second straight defeat this past weekend at UFC 207, losing to Amanda Nunes in just 48 seconds. With the former champ being such a massive mainstream star, many UFC fighters have weighed in on the loss shortly after the contest.
Jon Jones was among the more high profile fighters to do the same, as he sent out several messages on social media to try and give advice to the former champion. In Jones’ opinion, despite some talk about taking time off or possibly retiring, Rousey should continue fighting.

My advice to Ronda would be to pick yourself up and try again.

I believe Rousey will be a champion for the rest of her life, even if she never wins another fight

I think it’s important for Ronda to show her fans how great she truly is by displaying her courage and giving it another try.

What she does next will truly determine her legacy. I really hope she chooses to be a unbroken. Her story doesn’t have to be over here

I also still believe she beats 90% of the division. Lots of ass kicking still to be done, lots of money to be made

Many have criticized Rousey’s coach in Edmond Tarverdyan after the two losses. Jones, on the other hand, says she doesn’t necessarily have to leave him, but believes that being in a bigger MMA team could only help her.

seems like the whole MMA world is against her boxing coach. I’ve never seen him work, maybe he’s not the problem https://t.co/GdrtJv6H04

Maybe she just needs to complement her coach with an MMA family. Maybe she should join one of the bigger MMA teams

Being around other bad asses and constantly sharing your spotlight could be good for you and so many ways. They can improve on your humility

Constantly being humbled is never a bad thing in a sport like this

I don’t think taking a bunch of time off is necessarily what she needs. she needs a better stylistic match up. https://t.co/cZKPdhQ4HA
